Even the devastating Hurricane Sandy that destroyed so many houses and other public facilities had not been able to take away the joy and spirit of the Thanksgiving celebration. In fact, during those devastated moments, many families decided to create something that was not only from the heart of the makers but also amazing to enjoy for the whole family. Simple but delicious, Sweet Pineapple Stuffing is one of the all time favorite.
The dish is also great if pairs with poultry such as turkey. So that is why, it is just simply perfect to serve the whole family with the Sweet Pineapple Stuffing as the sidekick of the turkey star. Another great idea is to pair it with ham, so that it is also the perfect to put on the table for other occasions such as Easter or Christmas.
Many mothers find the dish a favorite is because it is so easy to create and yet so delicious for young and old. The flavor is so simple yet so sweet. It does not need so many ingredients so it is less likely that mothers will forget to purchase one or more ingredients and need to make a quick run to the grocery stores with no time to spare before Thanksgiving dinner.
There are so many types of recipes but this one is a must try. Prepare these ingredients before starting cooking:
1. Crushed fresh or canned pineapple (the note would be to cheat with the use of pineapple peeler if you want to choose the fresh one but at the same time, save so much valuable time, as we all know just how busy a Thanksgiving dinner can be).
2. One can of Pineapple juice or create your own fresh pineapple juice.
3. One cup of fresh milk
4. One butter that is already melted
5. One and a half cup of sugar (can be more if you want to make it sweeter)
6. Three eggs that are already beaten
The cooking method is very simple. You can mix eggs, melted butter, sugar, milk and crushed pineapple in a large bowl while preheating the oven at 325 degree Fahrenheit. After the mixture is perfect, add bread cubes into it. Afterwards, pour everything to a baking dish and put it in the oven for one hour. In only 10 minutes after you take it out of the oven, the dish is ready to be served for the whole family to enjoy. Easy right?
