These numbers answer the question why people on diet avoid ice cream. On the other hand, a cup of vanilla frozen yogurt contains 221 calories, 6 grams of fat, 5 grams of protein, 4 grams of saturated fat and 38 grams of carbohydrates. You see that even though frozen yogurt has lower numbers, but you still need to limit your intake.
