Before I know the recipe of this pineapple dessert, I always thought that good taste and low calories are impossible matches. Not to mention, having a dessert during the time of diet. Most of us who are on diet would rather skip dessert than having to swallow a carrot cake that is tasteless. These kinds of desserts will ruin our memories of having desserts.
Why is the pineapple cake so much better for diet if compared to the other fruits? It is because of the fact that the fruit is so low in calorie content. The answer to the ingredients question is a box of Angel Food cake mix (the size of 16 oz) and 20 oz of pineapple can, crushed. But if you want to upgrade the cake, you can also add two more ingredients, the cool whip cream and also shredded coconut. The two additions can be used as icing for the top part of the cake.
To start the cooking, preheat the oven until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease the baking pan thoroughly.
