This recipe can be created into all sweet ice cream that is suitable for the whole family, but can also be combined with rum for more adult occasions.

The ingredients of the ice cream is 1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream, a cup of whole milk, 0.75 cup of white sugar, a pinch of salt, 3 large eggs, 1 lime’s grated zest, 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice, half a cup of pineapple juice, half medium sized or 1.5 cups of fresh pineapple that needs to be peeled, cored, chopped and chilled.
First, you will need to combine milk, sugar, cream and salt and put on medium heat until it starts to boil. If you want to be more precise, then you can put an instant read thermometer. When it reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit, then you will need to turn of the stove. On a medium bowl, whisk the 3 eggs and then slowly pour the hot cream mixture to the bowl. During the process, you should not stop whisking. Then return the custard to the pan and cook with low heat until it thickens.
This will take about 5 minutes. Pour the custard to a clean bowl and discard any of the solids you find. Then stir the lime zest, lime and pineapple juice into he custard and let it cool for about half an hour. Afterwards, put the custard in the refrigerator until it is cold. Then freeze the mixture in the ice cream maker while adding the chopped pineapples at the last 5 minutes.
