That is why I will share you a recipe of pineapple margarita. The drink is so refreshing yet so ‘summer.’ After all, what can be more summer than having a fresh pineapple in your drink?
This sweet tropical drink recipe is just so popular to cool off summer nights. It tastes so much more refreshing when served on the rocks. The drink will not take more than 10 minutes to prepare and is so simple. To make 8 servings, you will need to prepare these ingredients.
Pineapple Margarita

- 2.5 c of pineapple juice
- 1.25 c of tequila
- 1 c of cointreau. Or you can also change the drink to another liqueur with orange taste if you think that cointreau is too sweet for you.
- 1 c of orange juice
- 0.75 c of fresh lime juice
- 0.5 c of simple syrup. You can buy simple syrup from the nearest grocery store but you can also search the web to create your own.
- 3 c of ice cubes
- Garnish. Garnish can be fresh pineapple spears or maraschino cherries. Although they are the common garnish, but you can feel free to use your creativity and add your own garnish.
The preparation process will start with combining pineapple juice, cointreau, tequila, simple syrup and also lime juice in a large pitcher. If you want it to be very chilly, then you can prepare the combination 6 hours in advance and put the mixture in the refrigerator during the period. After the 6 hours time, take the pitcher out and add the 3 cups of ice cubes. Stir the pitcher to get a great blend. Voila! Your margarita is done. The next step is to pour it into the glasses and put the garnish on them.
