Finally summer has arrived. Summer is among the most awaited time of the year. People may have different reasons to like summer. Some love summer because they finally have time to go certain planned trips. Some other love summer because they want to party. Those who love outdoor activities are finally able to do every outdoor activity they could dream of. Some students decides to catch up by taking short classes. And some even decide to do a part-time job for the experience as well as the money.
No matter how fun summers can be, there will be times at the season that the sun is just too bright and the heat is too much. At times like these, we need something to help us stay fresh. This something is not supposed to be an activity as it will only make you sweat more, but it is supposed to be a cold drink or food to make your body cool off. I will tell you a secret of one of those refreshing dish, the Pineapple Sorbet. This recipe is different from the others because this one is super easy and you will not need to do so many activities and make you sweat before you can enjoy the dish. Another good thing about the dish is that it is sugar free and is healthy.
The ingredients of the Pineapple Sorbet are one can of pineapple chunks which has 20 ounces of chunks in it and the juice inside the can. And that’s it. If you are waiting for me to ask you to prepare more ingredients, well, there are none. However, this is one of the dishes that needs planning beforehand because you need to put the can of pineapple in the freezer a few hours or even a few days before you want to turn it into sorbet. But actually you should not use the can. For best result, you need to use a large and flat container that is safe for freezers.
Pour everything, including the juice to the container and freeze it. After the container content turn hard of cold, take it out of the freezer. Set it aside for 10 minutes to have some parts turning rather soft, and then use a knife to break the block of pineapple juice and chunk into several large chunks. Afterwards, put them all in a food processor until you see that those chunks turn to creamy and smooth consistency. This can mean that you need to let the food processor work for a few minutes.
